Professor Han Do-hyun (AKS)

Professor Han Do-hyun is offereing two classes this semester.

Professor Han is professor of sociology at AKS. He received his Ph.D. in sociology from Seoul National University in 1992. He was a Stanley Junior Fellow (1994) and Oberman Fellow (2004) at the University of Iowa and a visiting scholar at Harvard University (1995, 2001, and 2006), member of the Advisory
Committee for the Promotion of Humanities in the Ministry of Education and Human Resources. His major publications include: Corporate Citizenship and Civic; Religion and Civic Community; Voluntary Local Assocatiation and Civic; Grassroots Leaders and Civic Community; Advancing the Rule of Law in; An Alternative Model against the Fordist Food System: A Social. His research interests include community empowerment, environmental sociology, social history, and the comparative study of Korea and Vietnam.
